Job description

Our Client, in the Automotive Industry located in North East, has an opening for PDI Quality Control.

Responsibilities:

1. Observe and perform detailed investigations of new vehicle product problems in close cooperation with Workshop Executive & Technical support team.
2. Compile quality issues reports to update Workshop Executive for review and immediate resolution.
3. Assist PDI Executive in weekly toolbox meetings to update safety information and technical issues encountered.
4. Support the Sales and Marketing Department in preparing for new car launches and press cars, along with retail operations.
5. Ensure quality of service and achieve Sales NPS targets for new vehicle deliveries.
6. Support test drives and address new vehicle related matters as needed.
7. Conduct in-progress and final quality checks of vehicles.
8. Monitor daily workshop carry-forward vehicles.
9. Ensure accessories fitment aligns with Factory guidelines, with proper documentation.
10. Maintain the use, condition, and maintenance of tools and workshop facilities.
11. Maintain safety, order, tidiness in the workshop, and discipline among staff and vendors.
12. Keep workshop areas and warranty parts storage clean and organized.
13. Assist with other company requirements as directed, working within the authority of a Workshop Foreman.
14. Help schedule PDI loading capacity to meet sales registration targets.
15. Monitor work-in-progress status to ensure timely delivery.
16. Identify and recommend areas for improvement.
17. Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec with at least 5 years in an executive/foreman role.
• At least 3 years’ supervisory experience in a vehicle workshop environment.
• Valid Class 3 Singapore driving license.
• Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.
