Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an HR Manager to oversee training and development, compensation and benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate should have a degree in HR Management and at least 3 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in managerial capacity, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Training & Development needs of employees.

Job description

Major Responsibilities:

· Oversee of Training & Development

  1. Provide guidance to HR Administrator in aspect of Training & Development
  2. Oversee the training and development needs of employees to enhance overall skills and career development with the aim of attaining business objectives.
  3. Source, recommend programs and identify training needs analysis using the competency model.
  4. Act as an internal consultant to build and facilitate the implementation of learning and development solutions.

· Compensation and Benefits

  1. Oversee and be responsible to ensure compliance to all legal statutory regulations and head quarter’s requirements in C&B function e.g. MOM and employee related, RBA etc .
  2. Ensure that SSG is competitive in our compensation with benchmarking with companies in related industries.
  3. Plan and oversee that the yearly merit increment and appraisal process is executed and completed timely.
  4. Propose competitive compensation package for salary adjustment including promotion and upgrade cases.
  5. Execute bonus planning proposal and oversee the payout activities are done in accordance to guideline and approved budget.
  6. Drive and participate in annual budgeting exercise.
  7. Maintain current knowledge on market issues and changes in government regulations affecting SSP compensation and benefits system.
  8. Develop and maintain HR related procedures and document for this process.
  9. HRI and HRMC Liaison.
  10. Drive or implement continuous improvement practices and HR projects in the organization.

Job Requirements:

· Degree holder preferably in HR Management.

· Min. 3 years in managerial capacity and preferably in manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations, HR best practices, C&B analysis and training related function.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills ( oral and written).

· Meticulous, flexible, open-minded and possesses positive attitude.

· Hands-on and be able to engage the teams.
