For the next chapter of the Global Insurance Hub, KPMG is locating one of the core Hub team in Singapore as part of a commitment to help accelerate the region’s response to the growth opportunity in transformation.
Role Summary
Lead the communications function for the Insurance Hub
- Drive awareness of and engagement with the Insurance Hub across the KPMG network
- Drive awareness and understanding of KPMG’s transformation experience and capability
Drive and support sales enablement and activation across Insurance Advisory
- Drive go to market activity globally and support local activity
- Support key strategic, multi-firm opportunities and pursuits
- Understand client demand globally and regionally
- Understand KPMG transformation capability
- Harvest relevant client win stories, credentials, proposals, deliverables etc
- Support pipeline growth
Learning Academy
- Drive the continued development of the Insurance Hub’s Learning Academy
- Identify opportunities to leverage existing training materials
- Support workstream leads to design, build and deliver relevant training
Enable the adoption and delivery of Bridge Campaigns, both Insurance priority and OneFS.
- Operational Transformation (including EWT)
- Finance Transformation
- Actuarial Transformation
Building relationships
- Actively build and maintain relationships across KPMG’s global network to support the ambitions of the Insurance sector
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of financial services experience, ideally within a professional services or other highly matrixed environment
- Strong global network: Experience of working with KPMG Partners and Directors across member firms
- Knowledge and understanding of the Insurance sector and the Insurance Advisory practice: Key market challenges, key propositions, key clients, etc
- Leadership abilities: Influencing skills, collaborative approach, ability to build trusted relationships
- Commercially focused: Experience in business development and account management with a client-centric approach. Understanding of KPMG’s GCM environment
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Cultural awareness: Understanding of both the global and ASPAC region’s diverse markets and regulatory environments
- Innovative mindset: Ability to think creatively and embrace change, fostering a culture of innovation within the network
- Client-centric approach: Focus on both internal and external clients to ensure relevance and value
- Analytical thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to navigate a complex, matrixed environment
- Travel and flexibility: Ability to travel internationally as needed and be flexible with timing
