Job Description: Event Operations Executive

Mandai Wildlife Group manages Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore, home to renowned wildlife parks that connect visitors with wildlife. The Group is revitalizing the reserve with five distinct wildlife parks, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.

Green Canvas, located within Mandai Wildlife Reserve, is seeking an Event Operations Executive to support the planning and execution of various events such as exhibitions, meetings, conferences, product launches, and VIP functions.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in logistics, liaise with sales and experience teams, coordinate with internal departments, and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Event Execution (Onsite): Oversee setup and teardown, serve as the main contact for clients and vendors, operate basic AV equipment, and monitor event flow.
  • Post-Event Duties: Conduct venue inspections, compile reports, and assist in billing for additional charges.
  • Technical & Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with technical teams and external vendors for AV, logistics, and IT support.
  • F&B & Facilities Coordination: Work with F&B and facilities teams to ensure readiness and alignment with event schedules.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in event or venue operations, preferably in MICE, exhibitions, or hospitality.
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Basic understanding of AV equipment setup and operation.
  • Hands-on event coordination experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm, solutions-oriented, and able to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Work Environment
