The Deputy Finance Director will assist in managing the finance department and provide strategic finance business partnering to business stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Director in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's financial objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with financial policies and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with industry trends and changes in financial regulations, advising senior management on potential impacts and opportunities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to the Finance Director, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with external stakeholders, such as auditors, bankers, and investors, to address financial matters and provide necessary information and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
