Assistant Finance manager (Town, up to $6k)

Job Description:

• Location: Town CBD area
• Industry: Real Estate
• Reporting to Senior Finance Manager
• Hybrid working arrangement (1 day work from home per week)
• Salary: up to $6000 basic + AWS + VB

Responsibilities:

• Prepare full set of accounts (AP, AR and GL) for complex operating entities
• Prepare supporting schedules, including month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare statutory financial statements, management reports and Group reporting
• Prepare annual budget, monitor cash flow and prepare quarterly forecast
• Prepare GST returns, assist in corporate tax filing for the assigned companies
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external service provider
• Review full set of accounts for simpler operating entities and Investment Holding Companies
• Assist with system implementation
• Manage ad-hoc projects when assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder and qualified accountant with ACCA/CPA Australia/ISCA
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in preparing full sets of accounts and closely dealing with operations team
• Candidate with real estate background will be an advantage
• Candidates with accounting background in listed companies/MNCs are preferred
• Team player who is pro-active, self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Strong technical accounting background
