About Lending Advisory Solutions (LAS):

LAS is responsible for:

  1. Growing the bank’s total loan book by introducing new lending products and maintaining existing ones.
  2. Handling complex credits from initiation to execution, including client meetings, advisory, negotiations, and approvals.
  3. Developing an open architecture lending platform by onboarding financial institutions and managing client referrals.
  4. Defining growth strategies for the loan book in collaboration with stakeholders.
Main Duties:
  1. New Product Approvals:
    • Manage end-to-end product approval processes including NBF, FS, and PAC, and prepare related documentation and business cases.
    • Address pre-launch conditions and coordinate marketing and training activities.
    • Draft operational procedures for new products.
  2. Product Shelf Maintenance:
    • Conduct annual reviews of LAS products, update business cases, and performance data.
    • Maintain the product pipeline with regular updates to relevant committees.
  3. Operational Efficiency & Controls:
    • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
    • Establish policies and controls to ensure compliance and operational robustness.
  4. Business Management:
    • Coordinate internal reporting and prepare management information systems (MIS).
    • Support LAS leadership with presentations, policies, and strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate on projects, launches, and regulatory matters with other departments.
    • Identify and address training needs for front office staff.
  5. Lifecycle Management:
    • Prepare and present credit proposals for annual reviews.
    • Engage with clients alongside the front office to understand credit needs and improve transaction quality.
Requirements:
  • Degree in business, finance, law, accounting, or tax from a reputable institution.
  • Relevant experience in related roles or supporting similar functions, with 10+ years of work experience.
  • Strong understanding of LAS financial products and services.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory environments in key markets.
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
  • Proficiency with enterprise data analytics and reporting tools.
