A leading company in the lift and escalator industry seeks a Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct training. The role involves preparing safety reports, investigating incidents, and assisting in audits. Ideal candidates will have relevant certifications and experience in construction.
Job Description:
· To ensure worksite compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Environmental.
· Conduct daily safety toolbox meeting, safety training, prepare and maintain safety records.
· Assist to investigate into all site incidents / accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
· Ensure supervisors, workers and subcontractors follow safe work procedures and all safety compliances on site.
· Ensure all lifting gears, appliances, electrical equipment are inspected, and records are up to date.
· Assist the Safety Officer/Manager on the ISO audit document preparation.
· Prepare and submit safety report to Manager.
· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirement:
· Possess a certificate in Safety Coordinator’s Course or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
· Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Building and Construction industry.
· Experience in lift & escalator environment will be an advantage.
· Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
