We are partnering with an International Energy Corporation on a high-impact executive search for a visionary Global Commercial Director to drive the future of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) on a world stage. This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial strategy of a fast-evolving global energy business at a pivotal moment for the industry. As the architect of global LNG market growth, you will forge strategic partnerships, lead high-impact commercial negotiations, and unlock new revenue streams across key markets in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. You will work at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and global trades – steering one of the most dynamic portfolios in the energy sector. This role is ideal for a bold, globally minded leader with a sharp commercial edge and a passion for innovation.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations for LNG SPAs (Sales and Purchase Agreements), tolling agreements, and other commercial contracts.
  • Identify and pursue LNG opportunities through market tracking and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor global LNG market trends, pricing, demand forecasts, and competitor activity.
  • Develop pricing strategies to optimize margins and enhance competitiveness.
  • Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, suppliers, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, standards, and legal requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Shipping, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of commercial experience in the LNG industry.
  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions.
  • Strong communicator with excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
