Job Description: Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales Engineer will serve as our technical expert on the PFOEM Life Science and Process Control product ranges, supporting sales in South East Asia. This role involves supporting Sales and Customer Service to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop offers and quotations for products
  • Qualify sales opportunities
  • Manage opportunity pre-studies
  • Provide detailed technical support to internal and external customers
  • Understand the wider Norgren product ranges and match products to applications
  • Take responsibility for a suite of products and train others in their application
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver change requests, deviations, and value engineering projects
What We Are Looking For
  • Successful background in technical sales, sales, or engineering within the Life Science and Process Control markets, ideally with pneumatic and control systems experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with analytical and critical thinking; attention to detail and creative solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Basic understanding of the theories underpinning our products, or willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with standard business tools including MS Office, JDE, CRM; CAD skills are advantageous
