AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth across various customer segments, including small, mid-market, and enterprise-level customers, as well as the public sector. The AWS Support team interacts with leading companies, emphasizing that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support partners with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on AWS services.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to advise our Web3.0 customers on adopting and leveraging AWS technology. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in the Web3.0 industry, expertise in financial services applications and infrastructure, and a solid understanding of the transformational potential of cloud technologies.

In this role, you will execute our go-to-market strategy by engaging with customers to assess business needs, identify opportunities, develop technical solutions, and articulate value propositions leveraging AWS cloud technology.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Drive revenue and market share in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry vertical.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans.
  3. Create and communicate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  4. Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline and reporting.
  5. Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  6. Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, Data Center Services), and Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
  7. Build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

The ideal candidate will leverage industry expertise, architecture experience, and customer-facing skills to serve as a trusted advisor. They should be capable of engaging with senior executive stakeholders and providing guidance to technical teams, including software developers, IT professionals, and system architects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives.
  • Experience in identifying, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and market segments.
  • BA/BS degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of Web3/Financial industry innovations.
  • Experience in acquiring customers from zero to one, and from one to ten.
