About the Job

This role requires detailed planning,budgeting, execution, and management of hybrid/virtual/in-person scientific conferences in the Asia Pacific region.


You will need

  • Preferably holds a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly with medical or scientific societies, including conference secretariat functions, speaker and delegate management, delegate recruitment, registration handling, abstract and call-for-paper management, and database administration.
  • Proven experience in planning and coordinating scientific meeting programmes, including session scheduling, speaker liaison, and programme content development in collaboration with scientific committees or professional bodies.
  • Responsible for day-to-day project management, covering key elements such as website development, attendee coordination, and budget (P&L) oversight.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications for project coordination and budget tracking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Willing to work during weekends and public holidays when necessary (with off-in-lieu arrangements).
  • Must be able to travel on short notice.
