Job Description:
- Own, maintain, and improve indices related to Quality, Uptime, and Cost.
- Sustain equipment KPIs and implement continuous improvements to enhance performance.
- Monitor and control equipment performance indices; optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Coordinate with process and manufacturing engineers to ensure efficient work execution aligned with module objectives.
- Manage logistics for parts to prevent prolonged uptime losses due to equipment failure.
- Control equipment maintenance expenditure without compromising quality output.
- Continuously improve equipment KPIs concerning quality, uptime, and costs.
- Plan and execute effective Preventive Maintenance programs on equipment.
- Coach and mentor subordinates to keep skills and knowledge up-to-date; provide regular feedback on performance.
- Document Corrective Actions and Best Known Methods; disseminate knowledge for maximum ROI and learning.
- Participate in CIP programs to optimize equipment utilization and maintenance costs.
- Become the technical expert for your machine specialization.
- Utilize SPACE for monitoring and analyzing SPC charts; use JMP for engineering experiments; effectively use measurement instruments for data collection.
- Understand FMEA; generate FMEA analysis for new tools; identify tool weaknesses and top risk factors.
- Create PROMIS (SiView) DC OP and SPC charts.
- Coordinate new equipment start-up, from facilities hookup to vendor startup and acceptance for production.
- Promote wafer scrap reduction awareness and mindset.
- Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for issue/event closure; guide junior engineers.
- Self-audit and update specifications to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements.
- Perform performance appraisals for technicians or AEs as instructed by the Section Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, or Microelectronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Photo Equipment (Track) within the semiconductor industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Excel VBA, and Power BI.
