Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, schedule, and achieve workshop maintenance production for combustion engine/electric Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and airport automotive vehicles, ensuring good availability, quality, safety, and compliance within budget and standards.
  2. Manage work orders, spares usage, and production using WIAM (computerized asset management and maintenance system). Plan and schedule equipment and vehicle maintenance to meet programs, inspections, and tests.
  3. Lead and manage assistant engineers, technicians, and/or outsourced contractors. Perform shift/resource planning, review workbay capabilities, and lead programs for continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
  4. Serve as Technical SME for fleet, troubleshoot complex defects, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare investigation reports. Identify technical specifications for items or services needed.
  5. Conduct and assist in designing training programs; guide and train staff to ensure quality maintenance.
  6. Maintain fleet records and documentation; analyze data to improve fleet performance and maintenance outcomes.
  7. Be prepared to serve as Engineering Supervisor in-charge or cover for Maintenance Engineer.
Key Requirements
  • Diploma or relevant qualifications in engineering with technical and management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience; lesser experience candidates may be considered for Assistant Engineer.
  • Technical disciplines in Electric, Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial engineering systems.
  • Ability to lead and manage a multicultural technical workforce.
  • Service-oriented and technically competent.
  • Willingness to undergo training for new equipment, including electric variants.
  • Willing to work on occasional weekends/public holidays as required.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
