Overview:

An Analyst in the Investor Relations Team will support the CBC Group Investor Relations team in all its fundraising activities, inclusive of private equity, private credit and other relevant strategies. The primary role is to work with the IR team, supporting sales and client service and implementation of fundraising campaign strategies, which includes materials preparation, fielding investor queries, investing monitoring and due diligence, research, reporting, management of dataroom and CRM, as well as investor meeting and event planning support, and multiple ad-hoc requests.

Location: Singapore

Reporting Line: Director, Investor Relations (Based in Singapore) and dotted line into Global Head of Investor Relations (Based in Abu Dhabi)

Qualifications:

Candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in top tier university with major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • Ideally two to three years’ experience in private equity, private credit, consulting firms, Big Four Accounting, Investment Banking, placement agent, or investment consultant.
  • Private Equity (Buyout, Growth or Venture) experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to the alternative assets industry across a variety of asset classes (including private equity, credit investment strategies) a plus, especially exposure to private markets capital raising, investor relations, client service or fund investment.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English speaker. Mandarin Chinese an added advantage due the geography of colleagues (China based).
  • Experience using CRM database to track client activity, fund raising campaigns and pipeline management
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/ written) and email etiquette. Well organized, analytical, meticulous and comfortable with numbers.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial work ethic, with the ability to take initiative and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and with positive attitude and strong team player
