Job Overview

Join an established A1-grade civil engineering and construction firm involved in large-scale public infrastructure and building projects across Singapore. As a Site Manager, you will be part of a dynamic site operations team working on a newly awarded government-related project in the east. The company has a strong track record in structural works, low-rise buildings, and warehouse developments, and is now expanding its project team for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, including work supervision and inspections.

• Accountable for daily reporting, foreman and supervisor coordination, and ensuring work complies with approved plans and specifications.

• Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople on-site.

• Ensure deployment of manpower and machinery is efficient; monitor and control overtime work.

• Enforce and maintain strict compliance with workplace safety and health regulations with the goal of zero accidents.

• Maintain excellent site housekeeping and implement safety best practices.

• Liaise with Project Manager, Project Director, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

• Resolve site issues and provide solutions for delays, design discrepancies, or other construction-related challenges.

• Ensure all works are conducted with valid permits, licenses, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Track and manage materials, tools, and equipment procurement and inventory.

• Control and reduce site waste, aligned with internal policies.

• Monitor resource usage and project costs to keep work within budget.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.

• 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in building construction (structural and architectural).

• Strong knowledge in construction methods, materials, and structural systems.

• Prior experience in low-rise, warehouse, or institutional building projects is added advantages .

• Able to work independently and lead a site team with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

• Willing to work on-site daily and perform hands-on supervision.
