Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic R&D leader to oversee and drive innovation in adhesive technologies and materials development in our Singapore operations. The successful candidate will lead the R&D team, manage product development projects, and align research initiatives with business goals across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all R&D activities and teams.
• Drive key innovation projects aligned with global strategy.
• Transfer and implement new adhesive technologies.
• Develop and execute long-term R&D strategies.
• Coordinate with global R&D counterparts.
• Manage departmental budgets, hiring, and performance.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• Extensive experience 15+ years in materials R&D, particularly in adhesives and sealants.
• Proven experience in intellectual property and patents.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across diverse cultures.
• Willingness to travel as required.
