Job Responsibilities:
Assist in executing sales strategies to meet sales targets, broaden market presence, and boost revenue within the food production industry.
Identify and engage potential clients, generate leads, and cultivate new business relationships through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with current clients, understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
Gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s food products, their features, uses, and benefits to effectively engage with clients and address their requirements.
Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches to prospective clients, showcasing the value and advantages of the company’s products.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements and achieve win-win outcomes.
Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activity, and gather customer feedback to uncover business opportunities, threats, and areas for growth.
Compile regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates, offering insights and recommendations to management to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, finance, and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfillment, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum ITE qualification or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in the food trading industry.
Proven success in sales, ideally within the food industry or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and market trends.
Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
