Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform established procedures for clinical testing across all assigned laboratory disciplines, analyze specimens, and report results to the sponsor. Proactively seek process improvements and assist in training personnel.
  • Conduct assigned clinical laboratory tests accurately and timely.
  • Ensure test result validity through quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Monitor reagents, materials, and supplies.
  • Maintain instruments and equipment according to manufacturer and SOP requirements, with proper documentation.
  • Comply with regulatory guidelines and Labcorp SOPs at all times.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with applicable computer systems and software.
  • Follow safety policies and universal precautions, maintain a clean and safe work environment, minimize biohazard waste, and clean workstations daily.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and opportunities as they arise.
  • Provide activity reports to laboratory management upon request.
  • Attend scheduled department, mandatory, and training meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, physical, or biological sciences from an accredited institution, with at least one year of training and/or experience in the testing specialty.
  • Prior laboratory experience in areas such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or PBMC technology is advantageous.
