Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer with hands-on experience in on-site server and storage maintenance, desktop/laptop user support, and basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and network troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing timely support, performing hardware repairs, and being available for biweekly 24/7 standby to respond to IT maintenance calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site maintenance and troubleshooting for servers and storage systems.
  • Provide technical support and repair for desktop/laptop hardware and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN).
  • Support and administer Active Directory tasks such as user account setup and permission management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and equipment status.
  • Participate in biweekly 24/7 standby rotation for IT maintenance and emergency calls.
  • Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an on-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware repair and diagnostics for desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Familiarity with RAID, storage systems, and server health monitoring.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Windows-based networking.
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations during on-call duty.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally for support tasks, if required.
