Job description

Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Japanese company that specializes in Mother and Baby care products. They are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of Sales Executives, Sales Representatives, E-commerce specialists, Merchandisers, and Sales Promoters to manage business growth.
  2. Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships to meet sales targets and profit objectives.
  3. Formulate the annual sales plan, budget, and forecast for assigned channels and develop action plans to achieve business objectives.
  4. Generate insights and redefine strategies based on sales analysis, promotional effectiveness, and market intelligence.
  5. Expand sales and distribution channels.
  6. Work closely with retailers, negotiate, and review trading terms and promotion schedules.
  7. Regularly review and improve policies and processes, and develop strategic plans.
  8. Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce sales strategy supporting overall business objectives, including revenue growth, market expansion, and brand visibility.
  9. Analyze performance metrics per channel and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and efficiency.
  10. Prepare regular management reports.

The Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines.
  2. 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG industry, or 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital sales roles.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, or equivalent.
  4. Detail-oriented with strong business acumen.
  5. Aptitude and passion for research, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  6. Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Excel, and platform dashboards.
  7. Experience with CMS, CRM, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
  8. Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
