Job description

Job Responsibilities

You will support the SGH Volunteer Management Department, under Division of Population Health and Integrated Care (PHIC). You will lead efforts in building strong relationships with volunteers, internal stakeholders and external partners to implement strategies to engage and recognize, thus enhancing their overall experience and impact. You will also implement strategies to develop training programmes to enhance volunteers’ skills and knowledge. You will have a strong background in engagement, training, and partnership building, with a focus on healthcare and health activation.

The roles and responsibilities include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement volunteer training, programmes to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Plan, coordinate and execute volunteer orientation, training, engagement and matching initiatives with SingHealth institutions/partners and volunteer groups
  • Foster partnerships with SingHealth institutions and volunteer groups to co-create volunteer opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate feedback, training effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the overall volunteer experience.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Director/ Supervisor
Job Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline (with marketing, human resource, training/programme development/education components etc preferred)
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in developing and delivering training programmes, adult education &/or volunteer management
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Google Suites) is essential
  • Effective presentation, organizational, project and people management skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination and time management skills
  • Resourceful and able to work independently and meticulously
  • Able to relate well to staff of all levels
