A leading company in the construction sector is seeking an HR professional to manage the onboarding process, work pass administration, and training coordination for workers. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Business Administration or HR, with at least one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with employment laws, organizing corporate events, and maintaining training records. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
1. Onboarding Process & Work Pass Administration
Coordinate full onboarding process for foreign workers, including Work Permit applications.
Manage Work Permit processing: purchase security bonds, booking of MWOC, ensure timely submission of SG Arrival Cards.
Handle pre-arrival and post-arrival documentation (contracts, training forms, IPA letters, etc.).
Update relevant systems like OFWAS and maintain workers files (hard and soft copies).
Schedule MOM appointments for Work Permit issuance and card registration.
2. Training Administration (Supervisors & Workers)
Liaise with training institutes for various programs (CoreTrade, CSOC, SEC(K), and other ad-hoc trainings).
Coordinate training applications, scheduling, renewals, and ensure compliance with validity requirements.
Maintain up-to-date training records including hours and costs.
Assist in preparing training-related documentation.
Work closely with site admins and department heads to align training needs.
3. Work Pass Renewals
Prepare monthly renewal listings and submit for approval.
Coordinate medical check-ups and documentation for renewals.
4. Workers Audit
Assist in workers audit to ensure all audit-requested documents are complete and compliant with internal standards requirements.
5. Company Events - Planning
Assist in organizing company events (e.g., Annual dinner, Long Service Award ceremony).
Assist in handling multimedia content creation (videos, photography, editing) and event recaps.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant HR experience, particularly in handling workers-related matters, will be an added advantage
Familiar with employment laws and construction industry labour compliance will be an added advantage.
Experience in organizing corporate events (e.g. annual dinner, long service awards, team-building) will be an added advantage.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment.
