Job summary

A leading company in Lifting Services is seeking a project manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage proposals, and ensure equipment serviceability. The ideal candidate will have a diploma and experience in mechanical or civil engineering, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of working experience.
  • Mechanical / Marine / Offshore / Civil Engineering background.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Lifting Services projects and coordinate manpower.
  • Review RFQs and prepare proposals for submission.
  • Liaise with clients for equipment mobilization and inspections.

Job description

Main purpose of role:

To support Business Line Manager in handling & managing of Lifting Services Business Line.

Key Accountabilities:

  • - Day to day management of Lifting Services projects.

    - Assist with the reviewing of RFQ, preparation of proposal for submission & following up on submitted proposals.

    - Manage & coordinate the maintenance, repair & serviceability of Lifting Services equipment, including Pre & Post hire inspections.

    - Manage & coordinate the supply of manpower for Lifting Services projects.

    - Liaise with Clients with regards to the mobilization, operational & post rental inspection of Lifting Services equipment.

    - Responsible for all mobilization & de-mobilization of Lifting Services equipment, including shipping coordination & documentation preparations pertaining to Lifting Services equipment.

    - Compilation & submission of timesheet for equipment hire & manpower deployment.

    - Manage & update project documentation folder.

    - Establish & maintain positive relationship between Clients & Group team.

Knowledge:

  • Mechanical / Marine / Offshore / Civil Engineering background

  • Familiar with winch & hydraulic equipment

Skills & Competencies:

  • Competent in Microsoft Excel & Word

  • Strong organisational skills, attentive to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a multitasking environment

  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills, ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment

Qualifications and certification:

  • Diploma

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of working experience

Personal Qualities:

  • Ability to work well in teams & independently

  • Responsible, good working attitude, proactive, minimum supervision & willing to learn new skills
