JOB DESCRIPTION

As Operations Manager (Admin Principal) of the campus, you will play a key role in assisting the centre leader(s) in enrolment, finance, parents and external relations, marketing and promotional events, estate management, safety, health, hygiene and security, quality management, regulatory compliances, logistics support, and general administration of the campus. You will supervise a small team of customer service/administrators and security officers to achieve excellence in school administration and operations. This job offers excellent opportunities to acquire skills in all facets of organisational administration in a vibrant environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage general administration of the campus including generating management reports, updating government subsidies, ensuring the completeness of customer records, and maintaining proper documentation and records.
  2. Work with centre leader(s) to meet enrolment and revenue targets; manage day-to-day financial operations including exercising financial control over budget expenditure, timely collection of revenues, and financial reporting.
  3. Support the centre leader(s) in customer relations and services, including engagement, customer satisfaction, prospecting, enrolment, and general customer affairs.
  4. Assist in establishing, building, and maintaining external relations, including coordinating activities with stakeholders such as government authorities, community partners, residents committees, and constituency advisors.
  5. Support human resource management, including staff engagement, retention, manpower planning for non-teaching staff, professional development, resourcing, and HR administration.
  6. Oversee estate management of the campus and liaise with contractors on estate and landscape maintenance, improvement work, and health and safety, cleanliness of the school.
  7. Review and maintain security and safety of the school premises and property, including establishing security and safety procedures and conducting emergency exercises.
  8. Provide logistics support for school activities, excursions, and functions such as Open Houses and Parents-Teacher Conferences.
  9. Supervise a team of customer service officers, security officers, and, in certain circumstances, attendants, traffic wardens, etc., providing on-the-job training for effective school operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in Sales Management, Hospitality, or Retail Operations are preferred.
