Job description

As a research institute within the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), IME bridges the gap between academia and industry. Our mission is to accelerate innovation in advanced packaging, piezoMEMS, SiC, RF/mmwave GaN, and photonics & sensors, and to develop talent and inspire in Singapore.

We are looking for a resourceful and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Operations Support (OS) team, you shall conduct risk management and ensuring compliance to A*STAR policies and procedures. This role includes, but is not limited to the following:

Job Description:

  • Understand IME Quality Manual, A*STAR policies and relevant procedures.

  • Ability to plan and conduct regular audits and execute any improvement plans to ensure compliance to all A*STAR policies and IME procedures.

  • Ability to take actions in dealing with non-compliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them.

  • Ability to produce audit report and summary on each audit taken, follow up and ensure closure of any findings identified.

  • Ability to compile, review and analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRI), as part of regular reporting to A*STAR ERM Office. Based on the KRI compiled, assist in the preparation of Risk Reports.

  • Ability to enforce IME governance on areas but not limited to like confidentiality, PDPA and data protection.

  • Able to maintain a high level of staff awareness via staff training, sharing session and regular eDMs.

  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline or minimum 3 years of related work experience.

  • Related certifications or good understanding on Policy Compliance, Risk Management or ISO trained will be advantageous.

  • Proficient in data analytics/visualization tools like Power BI will be beneficial.

  • A resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps.

  • A motivated individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder and management reporting.
