About the job

Reporting to the Shopkeeper of the respective Home Furnishing department, the Sales Associate provides excellent sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring the IKEA basic merchandising standards are met to give customers a positive shopping experience.

Your responsibilities
  1. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by assessing customers’ needs, providing information and assistance when required.
  2. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of your department, with items properly displayed, priced, and fully stocked.
  3. Actively promote top-selling and prioritized products to maximize sales.
Qualifications
  • You are customer-service oriented and passionate about driving business.
  • You are a problem-solver, able to work independently, and a strong team player.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are physically fit to handle physical work and retail hours.
  • You have a passion for home furnishing and details about life at home.
  • You are able to commit to working on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
