Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented Regional Head of Unsecured Lending and Joint Finance to lead and grow our unsecured lending and ecosystem lending businesses across six key markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, and China. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in consumer finance, product management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will develop regional strategies, manage P&L, oversee risk management, collaborate with marketing and sales teams, and build partnerships within the ecosystem to drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute regional strategies for unsecured lending and joint finance, aligning with overall business goals and market conditions in each territory.
  2. P&L Management: Own the P&L for the regional unsecured lending and joint finance portfolios, driving revenue, managing expenses, and ensuring profitability. Set financial targets, monitor performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
  3. Product Management & Development: Oversee the lifecycle of unsecured lending and joint finance products, including innovation, enhancement, and compliance with regulations.
  4. Partnership Management: Establish and nurture partnerships across markets, ensuring disciplined performance review, tracking, and governance.
  5. Risk Management: Collaborate with risk management to establish a robust framework to mitigate credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
  6. Sales & Marketing: Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies for lending products.
  7. Technology and Digital Capabilities: Develop product and platform roadmaps to ensure competitive offerings, working closely with Technology and Digital teams.
  8. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across departments and geographies to influence decisions and secure buy-in.
  9. Market Analysis & Insights: Stay informed on market trends, competition, and regulations, providing insights for strategic decisions.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations in each market.
Requirements:
  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related fields.
  • At least 15 years of experience, with a focus on consumer lending or cards.
  • Proven track record in product management and launching consumer finance products.
  • Deep understanding of P&L drivers, risk management, marketing, and sales in consumer finance.
  • Leadership experience managing high-performing teams across multiple markets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
