Job description

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and experienced Air & Sea Freight Executive to join our team in the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:
AIR Import/Export:
  • Coordinate air freight import/export shipments, including export freight booking, import shipment customs clearance, and end delivery.
  • Request rates from airlines/GSA.
  • Communicate with clients and overseas partners to meet their requirements, provide freight quotes, and handle shipments.
  • Prepare and process AWB documentation.
  • Monitor and track shipment status, provide updates, and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of air freight activities, including shipment details, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless operational coordination.
SEA Export:
  • Handle sea import operations and prepare related documentation.
  • Prepare shipping documents such as packing lists, invoices, and certificates of origin.
  • Declare and apply for custom permits and other related documents.
  • Liaise with freight co-loaders, shipping lines, and transporters.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed efficiently, accurately, and timely, complying with customer requirements.
  • Manage email correspondence with customers and overseas agents.
  • Generate reports as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties such as billing, costings, and payment follow-up.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of air freight regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of handling AOG and DG shipments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with freight forwarding software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
