A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping documentation and coordinate with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong ability to work in a team. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery and maintaining smooth inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage Shipping Documentation for Customs Clearance
Submit Permit Applications via TradeNet
Track and Record Shipment and Cargo Delivery Status - Monitor shipment progress, ensuring timely delivery, and update records accurately to provide up-to-date status to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, and Logistics Teams
Assist with Stock-In Processing - Support the team with the accurate and timely processing of incoming stock to maintain smooth inventory management.
Handle Cargo Insurance Declarations
Provide support to the Department as needed
Job Requirements:
Higher Secondary/ 'O' Level or above.
At least 1 year of experience in similar job function
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word)
Fast learner and able to work well with others
Candidate possessing SC401 Customs Competency Test for Declarants Certificate will have added advantage
