An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities management. This role involves supporting maintenance and project functions, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing contractor submissions. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Facilities Management or a related field, with at least four years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within government projects. Responsibilities:
Station on-site to oversee day-to-day planning, management and operations of facilities management works and services.
Support staff to support the maintenance and project works function.
Work with Project Manager to check and verify all-star rate items submitted by term contractor or appointed contractor.
Work with Project Manager to check on any star rate submission by contractors against the market norm for the final bill of quantities.
Provide additional services for consultancy services in the area of investigation, preliminary design, and estimates; detailed design; tender documents preparation; evaluation of tenders; and supervision and contract administration of the works.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
Relevant studies in Degree or Diploma in FM, built environment or QS.
Qualifications need to be accredited by Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV).
Minimum 4years of relevant experience in quantity surveyor, advantageous if experience in managing government projects, maintenance contracts, have knowledge of Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
Good to have tender process knowledge.
