Key Responsibilities:
Full Set of Accounts Management: Independently manage the complete set of accounts for various clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Month-End Closings: Execute month-end closing processes efficiently for multiple companies.
Management Accounts Preparation: Develop comprehensive monthly management accounts and reporting packages.
Group Account Consolidation: Handle the consolidation of financial statements for simple to complex group structures.
Financial Statement Compilation: Prepare financial statements in line with Financial Reporting Standards.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional growth.
Team Supervision: Oversee junior associates to ensure high-quality work and achieve departmental goals.
Financial Management Support: Assist in delivering expert financial management services to our clients.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve accounting issues promptly as they arise.
Client Advisory: Provide clients with insightful advice on finance operations, accounting systems, and reporting requirements.
Ad-Hoc Assignments: Tackle special projects and assignments as needed.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy. Professional qualifications such as ACCA are a plus.
Relevant Experience: 2-3 years of proven track record in full sets of accounts (AP/AR/GL) and team supervision.
Tax Guidance: Knowledge and experience in tax computation and advisory for clients will be highly advantageous.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore taxation, including knowledge of corporate tax, GST filing, and basic consolidation.
Ethics and Integrity: Honest and trustworthy, with a solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Taxes.
