For voestalpine Böhler Welding Asia Pacific Pte Ltd of voestalpine Böhler Welding Group, we are seeking an:

Assistant Manager, Finance and Controlling

Description of the job:
  • Handle all finance-related tasks independently, managing processes from start to finish.
  • Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other accounting tasks.
  • Conduct regular working capital management, including vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Perform monthly dunning processes and collaborate with sales and customer service for follow-up collections.
  • Reconcile balance sheet schedules monthly, including intercompany reconciliations.
  • Manage monthly closing processes in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS group reporting standards.
  • Maintain organized filing of all accounting records.
  • Prepare schedules for tax and audit purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls as per company guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SAP and familiarity with IRAS reporting.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously, with a remote functional manager based in Singapore.
  • Maturity: Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and reliability in a remote supervision environment.
  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate / NITEC, Diploma, or Higher/Graduate Diploma in accounting and finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, management accounting, and taxation.
  • Experience with Big 4 audit firms is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a regional or remote management setup.
  • Experience in multinational companies with tight deadlines.
  • Highly skilled in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with management at all levels, including in Singapore.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Effective task prioritization and time management skills.
