Job summary

A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to oversee the school booking system at the National Museums. Responsibilities include conducting briefings, managing school visits, and preparing educational resources. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in arts management or related fields and excellent interpersonal skills. This is a 1-year contract with office hours from Monday to Friday.

  • Prepare and monitor educational resources.
  • Co-ordinate logistics for workshops and programmes.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and monitor school booking system for Learning Journeys at the museum.
  2. Conduct mass briefings to museum visitors, including to students and the public.
  3. Keep track of school visits and answer enquiries about school programmes, bookings via emails, and phone calls, etc.
  4. Co-ordinate weekday and weekend docent tours/virtual tours for school visits, regular or special requests.
  5. Welcome school groups to the museums or virtually, and undertake crowd control measures during peak periods or when there are a few school groups in the museum.
  6. Prepare and monitor educational resources and worksheets.
  7. Co-ordinate logistics / equipment list for all workshops and programmes.
Requirements
  1. Possesses minimum a Diploma in Arts management, education, art, history, or museum/gallery-related fields.
  2. Keen interest in Arts and Heritage.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
