Job summary

KEPLER HUMAN CAPITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a School Kitchen Assistant to support food laboratories and teacher preparation rooms in Singapore. The role involves preparing ingredients, ordering supplies before lessons, ensuring safe handling of food, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers during practical sessions, managing inventory and invoices, and performing related duties as directed by NFS teachers and school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Be in the Teacher's Preparation Room and food laboratories during working hours
• Ordering of food ingredients before lesson
• Preparation of ingredients before lessons, ensuring food is prepared and handled safely
• Maintaining cleanliness of utensils, equipment and food laboratories areas
• Handling inventory and stock taking of resources e.g. books, utensils and equipment
• Assisting the teacher during practical session e.g. ensuring that 2-2 students observe safety rules, guiding students in preparation skills
• Administration - Checking and filing invoices and keeping track of the cost of the ingredients
• Any other duties relating to the food laboratories assigned by NFS teachers, SH/NFS, HOD/Craft and Technology and the School Leaders.
