Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an EDM Wire Cut Technician. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining EDM, milling, drilling, and surface grinding machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with Wirecut CAD/CAM and be knowledgeable in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. This full-time position offers a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, with work hours from 7.30am to 5.00pm.

Qualifications

• Experienced with Wirecut CAD/CAM. Knowledge will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain wire-EDM, milling, drilling, and surface grinding machines.
• Utilize CAD/CAM software for daily wire-cutting operations and programming tasks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on machines.
• Interpret and follow established procedures, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Uphold 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support and improve various manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain Wire-EDM, milling, drilling, and surface grinding machines.

Utilize CAD/CAM software for daily wire-cutting operations and programming tasks.

Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operations.

Interpret and follow established procedures, work instructions, and engineering drawings.

Uphold 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Collaborate cross-functionally to support and improve various manufacturing processes.

Job Requirement

Experienced with Wirecut CAD/CAM. Knowledge will be added advantage.
