Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing editorial processes from manuscript development to publication.
• Ensuring content is accurate, well-structured, and appropriate for the intended readership.
• Editing and proofreading manuscripts, checking for grammatical accuracy, clarity and consistency.
• Developing artwork briefs to guide the creation of illustrations and photographs.
• Applying style guidelines to maintain consistency in spelling, punctuation, formatting and editorial conventions.
• Collaborating with writers, designers, photographers and internal teams to produce high-quality materials.
• Monitoring project timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conducting research and fact-checking under tight deadlines.
• Undertaking administrative and editorial tasks as required.

Requirements

• A degree in Mathematics, Science, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• A keen eye for detail, accuracy, and consistency.
• Organised, proactive, and responsible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
• Candidates with little to no prior experience but a strong academic background are welcome to apply.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
• Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.
