Qualifications

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing operational tasks, including preparing and processing assets for linear and nonlinear services for broadcast and digital media for Disney services in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform all aspects of editing, including mastering and formatting of programs.
  2. Conduct Standard and Practice and PSE editing on video and audio files based on censorship reports to ensure compliance with relevant regulations of the recipient markets.
  3. Conform foreign language dub tracks to match the video.
  4. Perform digital conversions for various formats, frame rates, and component types according to distribution requirements.
  5. Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials for transmission and distribution.
  6. Control and approve the quality of incoming and processed media files, including subtitle and dubbing materials, before transmission/distribution.
  7. Capture and record technical data such as timecode and format information, maintaining data accuracy in operational systems.
  8. Complete tasks assigned by the team lead promptly and with quality.
  9. Track operational problems, investigate issues, and provide solutions.
  10. Maintain and update standard operational procedures.
  11. Assist in managing job orders, organizing facilities, resource planning, and communication with internal and external groups.
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. ITE/Diploma/Degree in video production, media studies, or related fields.
  2. 2-3 years of relevant experience in the broadcast/media industry.
  3. Proficient in video/audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, ProTools.
  4. Knowledge of UHD, HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos technologies.
  5. Proficiency in Japanese is preferred; Korean is a plus.
  6. Self-motivated, team-oriented, with a positive attitude.
  7. Ability to prioritize, adapt, and work effectively under pressure.
  8. Willing to work on a shift basis (9am - 9pm, alternating every two days).
