Job summary

STARRY RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Physical AI (Edge Intelligence) Research Scientist to push the boundaries of AI deployed on edge devices. You will explore Perception, Reasoning, and Action generation using multimodal inputs and optimize models for robustness and low latency.

The role emphasizes research, algorithm development, and real-world validation on edge platforms, in collaboration with hardware acceleration teams. Publication and IP opportunities are expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent research-focused degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong publications in AI/ML, CV, robotics, or related areas.
• Proven track record in conducting rigorous AI research and experiments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in Physical AI, Embodied AI, Multimodal AI, and Foundation Models for real-world applications.
• Develop and fine-tune Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models and other multimodal systems.
• Optimize AI models for efficient, low-latency edge inference and deploy on edge devices and testbeds.
• Publish findings in AI/ML, CV, and robotics venues and explore potential patents.
