Job Description: Supply Chain Executive at SSMC

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is a joint venture between NXP and TSMC, providing flexible and cost-effective semiconductor fabrication solutions within a fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment, featuring 100% equipment automation and proven wafer-manufacturing processes.

We are seeking an Executive to join our Supply Chain R&M Purchasing & Procurement team. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities include:

1. Liaising with suppliers, engineering, and related teams on project requirements.
2. Acting as the main contact point with suppliers and users.
3. Preparing recommendation slides for management decisions.
4. Developing procurement strategies and improvements.
5. Researching and evaluating supplier attributes.
6. Negotiating terms and conditions in contracts and projects.
7. Coordinating contract renewals.
8. Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
9. Managing freight logistics for equipment and parts, including import/export.
10. Processing project purchase requisitions and orders in compliance with SOPs.
11. Updating and maintaining supplier databases.
12. Sourcing commodities and expanding the supplier base.
13. Meeting tight project schedules.
14. Conducting supplier audits or site inspections as needed.
15. Managing inventory and consignment stock efficiently.
16. Supporting daily operations and ad-hoc parts/services requests.
17. Preparing regular reports for review and monitoring.
18. Formulating strategies for new projects to meet quality, cost, and lead time objectives.
19. Finding replacements for obsolete parts.
20. Reviewing and updating operational procedures annually.
21. Performing other tasks to support departmental and company initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, Business, Computer Science, or Materials.
• Interest in supply chain, procurement, repair, and maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with notable achievements.
• Motivated fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong integrity and communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
• Leadership and teamwork skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, parts, and processes.
• Ability to manage tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.
