We are looking for skilled candidates to join our team, learn our Field Service business processes, and drive our operations to meet the ever-changing requirements of automated test in the growing semiconductor industry.

Job Description:

Within Advantest’s global Field Service business unit, our team’s mission is:

  1. Operations Support, Consulting, Applications, & Reporting

We support all global and local Field Service business functions and processes:

  • Call Center
  • Logistics
  • Repair
  • Supply Chain Planning
  • Service Marketing
  • Services Sales
  • Field Service Engineering
  • Administration & Management

Your primary role on our team will be to work with Advantest Field Service managers and colleagues to support the ongoing execution of our FS business as well as the ongoing improvement and evolution of our operations processes.

> We support the applications, tools, and data that drive Advantest’s FS business operations. Examples include:

  • ORACLE E-Business Suite
  • Advantest-specific Applications:
  1. Reverse Supply Chain / RMA
  2. Customer Service Agreement Quoting
  3. FS Support Portals for Contact Center, Logistics, Planning, and Repair
  4. Process Automation through Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  5. Microsoft SQL, Azure, and Power BI Reporting & Data Analytics

> We excel at project management, leading global cross-functional projects to enhance and optimize Advantest application and process environments. Examples include:

  • Oracle upgrades, integrations, and new functionality introductions
  • Introduction of new service processes
  • Efficiency gain projects
  • Logistics Warehouse Moves

> Our projects result in cost savings, enable revenue gains, and ensure process compliance.

As you develop your knowledge of Advantest Field Service, you will have opportunities to flex within our team to execute Consulting.

> We work with operational teams worldwide to drive continuous improvements within their associated process executions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop process, applications, and data knowledge - You will become part of the global team and over time gain a broad knowledge of the overall service business.
  • Support - You will be using this knowledge to work directly with the global operations teams to support their ongoing business.
  • Project Team Member – You will become a team member on key improvement projects to gain knowledge and participate in taking the Advantest Field Service business to the next level.
  • Junior Project Manager – You will be learning and will be coached to become an expert in our project management process, initially leading smaller global projects.
  • Data Mining and Process Analysis – You will review business operations data and key performance indicators to assess health and proactively identify potential issues
  • Consulting – As part of your support role and leveraging your analytics, you will be able to consult your global internal customers on improvement ideas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Operations, Supply Chain, or similar.
  • Excellent English language & interpersonal communication skills
  • Logical thinker & quick learner
  • Proactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivated
  • Open to occasional business travel, including international travel
  • Demonstrated strong personal leadership & good team player
  • Ability to set priorities based on actual customer needs, defined strategies, and management directions.
