What the role is:
Core Functions (ORNS Management): Management of Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS) personnel for SCDF Division, including:
- Management of ORNS and In-Camp Training (ICT) activities such as booking, reporting, deferment, make-up training, courses, cohesion programmes, awards, and medical reviews.
- Management of tests e.g., IPPT/SSPT/REPT/MSPT.
- Mobilisation of ORNS units.
- Promotion and succession planning of ORNS personnel.
- Handling ORNS feedback and appeals across platforms with timely updates.
- Nominations for awards and participation in events like SCDF Parade, Minister Visits, and sporting activities.
- Monitoring absenteeism and disciplinary follow-ups.
- Planning expenditure for ORNSmen Welfare fund per guidelines.
- Driving and managing NS Engagement Survey KPIs.
- Supporting pulse surveys and Employee Engagement Survey (EES) analysis.
Additional Responsibilities include overseeing personnel administration, supervising NSF welfare, managing duty rosters, coordinating welfare programmes, and monitoring manpower compliance.

- Personnel administration, ensuring accurate records, timely processing, and compliance with audit standards.
