Job Description

AESG is seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Manager to join our award-winning Sustainability Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sustainability and a willingness to work across multiple disciplines and industries to promote sustainable development.

The successful candidate will be part of AESG's dynamic Sustainability Development team. The role will focus on driving quality and continuous technical improvement, overseeing project delivery, and managing multiple client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the overall direction, strategy, and success of AESG as part of the company leadership team.
2. Manage complex projects independently and resolve project issues.
3. Assist and supervise Senior Consultants / Consultants.
4. Provide mentorship and line management.
5. Support the commercial success and stability of the division.
6. Ensure the successful delivery of projects with high quality standards.
7. Lead and implement AESG business development within the sustainability sector.
8. Provide thought leadership in the division and industry as a whole.
9. Support the development of procedures to improve division functions and efficiency.
10. Assist in divisional financial management, contracts management, business development, and marketing.

Qualifications / Experience:

1. Ideally qualified to MSc degree level with relevant academic or post-academic professional qualifications.
2. A minimum of 8-12 years of professional experience.
3. At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
