Job description

Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Junior) (12-Month Contract)

Location: Ang Mo Kio (AMK)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: Up to $2,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer (Junior) to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.

Note:

This position may involve occasional rotating shifts to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents via phone, email, remote tools, or on-site assistance.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  4. Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common applications.
  5. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and ensure follow-up until resolution.
  6. Maintain documentation for support cases, issues, and resolutions.
  7. Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, such as account setup and device allocation.
  8. Monitor and update IT asset inventory and maintain accurate records.
  9. Collaborate with other IT teams for system improvements and project support.
Requirements:
  1. Nitec, Diploma, or higher in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Basic IT knowledge; prior support experience is an advantage.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  4. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  5. Willingness to work rotating shifts if needed.
