Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and service-oriented Assistant Boutique Manager to support the daily operations of a luxury boutique in Singapore. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership experience in retail or hospitality who are passionate about customer engagement and driving team success.
As the Assistant Boutique Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Boutique Manager to ensure seamless operations, outstanding service, and the achievement of sales and profitability targets. You will also step in to lead the team in the manager’s absence.
Key Responsibilities
Boutique Operations:
Ensure the boutique is clean, well-organized, and visually merchandised to high standards
Oversee daily store operations and assign tasks to Sales Associates
Liaise with internal departments to maintain smooth store functioning
Customer Experience:
Provide a warm welcome and personalized service to clients
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and services
Introduce customers to the full product range and elevate their shopping experience
Cash & Inventory Management:
Monitor daily cash handling and ensure compliance with financial policies
Manage inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment and campaign materials
Team Development:
Coach and mentor Sales Associates to enhance service performance
Conduct regular training sessions to build product knowledge and selling skills
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to all operational procedures and regulatory standards
Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Business, Retail, or Hospitality Management
Minimum 6 years of customer service or retail experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Analytical with the ability to track performance metrics and drive results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays
