An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to ensure timely and accurate work orders in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining production records, coordinating with various departments, and assisting in scheduling tasks. Ideal candidates will have a post-graduate diploma in engineering and experience in production planning, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. 5.25 Days Work Week
Monday to Friday : 0830 – 1730
Saturday : 0830 – 1230 (Alternate)
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure work orders received from Engineer are accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate production planning record.
• Issue Purchase Requisition Order for Subcon / Plating / Heat treatment.
• Coordinate with purchaser to ensure timely availability of raw material and parts for secondary (plating / heat treatment) process.
• Assist in working with Production Supervisor / Manager on planning or scheduling.
• Follow up closely on production order and work closely with relevant department.
• Carry out another task as assigned by superior.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in Production Planning preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Well versed in computer skill especially in excel and other Microsoft office skills and knowledge in Navision is preferred.
• Strong skills and experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point).
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory and in timely manner.
• Independent in communication skills
• Post-graduate diploma in any engineering others filed related to planning and job arrangement.
