Job description

Job Info:

  • Salary: Basic up to $4200 + AWS + VB

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm

  • Location: Joo Koon (Company transport pick up at designated pick up points island-wide)

Job Scope:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Marketing, and Production to drive continuous improvement initiatives and execute projects effectively.

  • Liaise with suppliers to manage chemical specifications, monitor bath performance, and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal process conditions.

  • Provide support for plating line setup and modifications, including the design and deployment of racks, jigs, and chemical baths.

  • Oversee and carry out projects and tasks in line with management’s strategic objectives.

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely and efficient execution.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.

  • Develop and standardize system documentation to ensure consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

  • Review and approve new sample tests and quality reports to support product validation and meet customer specifications.

  • Lead the introduction, qualification, and industrialization of new raw materials, products, and manufacturing processes.

  • Champion value-added initiatives aligned with cost-reduction strategies and operational efficiency.

  • Monitor the performance of industrialized materials and products, initiating corrective actions to drive ongoing improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or related field

  • At least 1 year of experience in electroplating

  • Proficient in the use of analytical tools such as X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)

  • Possess leadership, teamwork, and project management abilities

  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Self-driven, proactive, and independent

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
