Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Account Manager to lead and manage strategic accounts in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT solutions and services, coupled with a proven track record in account management and government project engagement. Experience in government tenders and digital service project pitching will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned public sector accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
Identify new business opportunities within existing government accounts and drive revenue growth.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, pre-sales, delivery) to craft compelling IT solutions that meet client needs.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including proposal development, tender submissions, and contract negotiations for government digital projects.
Understand client requirements and translate them into strategic IT solutions and services.
Keep abreast of government ICT policies, procurement processes, and digital transformation initiatives.
Track account performance, forecast revenue, and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT account management or business development, preferably in the public sector.
Understanding of IT solutions and services such as digital platforms, cloud, software development, or system integration.
Proven experience in pitching for government digital projects and familiarity with public sector procurement processes (e.g., GeBIZ, Tender Board).
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing relationships within Singapore’s public agencies and statutory boards.
Experience working with digital transformation projects in the public sector.
Knowledge of government digital service standards and frameworks
