Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented **Data Entry Clerk** to support our recruitment team by managing critical candidate and client data. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for accuracy, familiarity with insurance industry terminology, and the ability to organize information efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our databases and ensuring seamless operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and update candidate and client information into our recruitment database.
  • Verify and cross-reference data for completeness, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct research to gather missing candidate details (e.g., certifications, employment history, licenses).
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing electronic records, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Generate routine reports on candidate pools, client needs, and recruitment metrics.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and company confidentiality policies.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as document scanning, filing, and email correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or relevant certification a plus).
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong internet research skills.
  • Basic understanding of insurance industry terminology (e.g., underwriting, claims, risk management) is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in recruitment, HR, or the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM software.
