Job description

Summary:

The Drafter cum Document Controller will be part of the Maintenance & Repair (M&R) team, responsible for updating Plant P&ID and CAD drawings, and acting as the custodian for document control within the M&R department to safeguard the drawings.

Your Tasks:

1. Administer HSSE standards, procedures, and practices:

   • Ensure compliance with all HSSE rules and regulations.

2. Manage Asset Integrity:

   • Serve as the custodian of the Drawing and Engineering data and document management database, ensuring as-built engineering documents are current.
   • Maintain updated drawing and data inventory summaries.
   • Verify drawings against site actuals through on-site checks.
   • Prepare detailed engineering drawings for construction and tendering for non-EPC projects.
   • Assist Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSSE teams in amending or drafting engineering drawings as needed.

Job Profile:

• Diploma in Engineering or Petroleum/Chemical Process.
• Certification in Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant (SWSHPP).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Oil and Petrochemical industry, preferably with engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle pressure.
• Meticulous with high attention to detail.
• Good project management, critical thinking, and innovation skills.

• This position is based in Jurong Island.
• Official working hours are Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1700 hours.
